How long did you use a sleep sack?
My DD is 8 months old and sleeps in a sleep sack every night. She moves all over the crib so I can't imagine how else we'd keep her warm at night! If you used them... how long did your LO sleep with a sleep sack?

How long did you use a sleep sack?
DD is 18 months and I have no plans to take her out of a sleep sack any time soon! She walks around in them before bed and in her crib.

I used them until DS and DD were able to move around, about 6 months or so. I just put them in long pajamas and socks to keep warm at night.

my girls are 13 months old and I'm currently looking to purchase winter ones in the larger size. They both move so much at night and I want them to be warm. We have been using them with and without swaddle since they came home.

too long! my DS always loved loved his sleepsack..he never stays still, not even in sleep so he was complaining his blankets fell off too much...
so,,,at 3 years old he still wears the one that has the feet holes!  it's ridiculous but he sleeps great and that's all i care about. i'm sure he only has a few months before its much to small and that will be that. my DD gave them up by 18 months or so.

Dd was about 9/10 months when we stopped maybe evn you get. We stopped b/c she would get fraustrated she couldn't move around and stand. I figured instead of buying bigger with the issue we stopped. She went back to sttn after that.
We are able to regulate her room now but when we couldn't we had a space heater. With that and pjs she was always fine.

They make them up to 4t/5t, so you might have longer than you think!

DS turns 2 on Sunday and still wears his. As long as he will wear them and they make them big enough I will put them on him. It's much easier then worrying about him kicking off the blankets!!

oh wow- i had no idea! so that's good to know-thank you! maybe it's not so abnormal if they make them that big

Until about 18 - 19 months when she Would contort herself to get out of it. At that point we switched to blanket which was useless because she would kick it off so we just dressed her really warmly. By 25 months she transitioned nicly to a full sized bed with pillow and comforter.

I used the Carters sleep sacks, which go up to 9 months, until DD outgrew them (maybe around 7 or so months?). Then I used the fleece feetie PJs on top of her regular cotton feetie PJs. This year DD is wearing two piece cotton PJs that are footless. She rarely keeps a blanket on her so I just ordered fleece sleepers from The Children's Place that go up to 3T.

Ds is 13 mths & he is still using it. We just ordered some for the winter so I don't think he'll be out of them soon.

1 yr then my DD started sleeping with blankets. She is a very calm sleeper and literally doesn't move around at all at night so blankets worked really well for her once we stopped with the sleep sack.
