Sleep Sack for a DD that stands in crib?

Sooo my DD is 11 months old and I have been reading a lot of posting where the little ones arent given blankets yet but instead sleep sacks.

My DD gets up once or twice during the night now, and stands in the crib (crying of course).

What would happen if I put her in a sleep sack, wouldn't she have more trouble standing and get more upset?

My older DD was in a sleep sack until she was like two...what was I thinking? Chat Icon Anyhow, I never found she had a problem with it at all.

mine stands in her sleepsack too (she's almost 2) but they do make the XL where the feet can come out.

We stopped with the sleep sacks by that age and just went over to blankets with no problem. Chat Icon

DD wore the regular ones until she was 2 also....then we did buy the ones with foot holes. It definitely didn't slow her down to wear the regular ones in the crib.

My DC stand up and walk all over the crib in the sleepsack. THey are wearing the ones with the foot holes, but their feet are never in the holes.

Both girls used them - my DD#2 is still using them - nope it never hindered them from pulling up and cruising around the crib.

My DD is 13 months and walks around the crib in her sleepsack. I will look for the ones with the foot holes when she moves to the next size, which should be soon.

I bought the one with the hole for the feet when he started walking in his crib.

DD is 16 months old and in a sleep sack when she is in her crib.

It's not an issue, she walks around her crib, stands, crawls, etc.... perfectly fine.
