DD turnd 1 yesterday and she is doing pretty well with table food. She has her 2 bottom teeth and two top side teeth (not front). Would you stop the jars now?

You can stop anytime your DC will eat table food. I am trying to get DS off now at 9 months but he isn't taking to table food. But my sisters son is completely on table food and has been since 9 months.

When do you completely stop baby food jars?

My DS just turned one and jat foods are pretty much a thing o the past. Here or there I will try to give it to him (especially if we are out bc it is easy) but often he does not want it, he likes table food, he especially likes to feed himself. Honestly, the jar food is so easy if he didnt refuse I would continue to give it to him here or there while on the go, but since I know he will likely shake his head me I wont buy anymore lol

My twins are 11 months adjusted age and we only use jared food if we are out and not going to be sitting down to a meal. I bought some stage 3 jars for this purpose. On a normal day to day, they eat table food

around 11 months, DS wouldn't take dinner and veggies from the baby food jars since we had started table food here and there. he will still eat the fruits for breakfast, but not anymore for dinner.

Once she was on table food we pretty much stopped but she did still enjoy a baby food fruit for a while after 1.
I used to still give her the baby cereal for the iron content so we'd mix in some jar fruit with that.
Or sometimes just as a snack or a dessert she would enjoy a baby food fruit up until recently- shes a little over 2 now.

She will be one next week and I stopped buying jars about a month ago. We have a few left which I will use for whenever we happen to not be home when it's time for her to have dinner.

Re: When do you completely stop baby food jars?

DD is almost 14 months and she will still sporadically have jarred fruit mainly. She likes it, and I figure it is the equivalent to me having applesauce. Usually she will have it in addition to finger food, so it is never just a meal of puree.

I also will use the puree squash/SP as a sauce for pasta if we are having something for dinner that I don't want to give her (super spicy, super chewy, etc) or if it just isn't ready when she eats dinner (she eats at 4:30 and we eat ~7, so that can be a PIT-A)

i never used jarred because i made all of my own baby food. however we stopped around 9-10m because she took pretty well to table food. at 16m we still use puree pouches out of convenience when we are out and about.

Re: When do you completely stop baby food jars?

DS will be 11 months on the 18th and even though he likes table food, I still buy jar food. I have to admit, i have become slightly reliant on them b/c i know exactly how many jars he needs to be full... Some days I will use the jar food just b/c it is easier if we are on the go.

DS is 13 months and I feel like we could've stopped around 11 mos. However, I still use them, and the pouches, simply for the ease of it. DS doesn't mind being fed, which I've heard some babies get fussy over. But I still use them because I know they're nutritious and easy on DS's tummy. Sometimes I make something too spicy for DS or maybe he didn't eat enough and I know he'll slam a pouch down. I also send them to my MILs when she watches him.
