Disney trip changed...anyone go in Dec?
My inlaws are treating all of their kids/grandkids to a Disney trip. First it was February, then it was June. Now it is Nov. 29th-Dec. 3rd. Long story but ultimitely this was the only time that worked for everyone. My question is, has anyone ever done the Mickey's Christmas party? I'm not sure if everyone will do it, but we were considering it for the 3 of us. DS will be 18 months, is it worth it? TIA!

Omg best time to go for holidays! Not too crowded yet but still everything is decorated /ready for the holidays! The Christmas party is awesome! It snows on main street & holiday music plays. Free cookies & hot chocolate at several places throughout out the park. Special Christmas parades & characters & fireworks. It's amazing. U will ALL love it!!!! Enjoy!!!!!

It's the BEST time of year there, in my opinion! We go every year the first week of December, but since I'm due in 4 weeks with my second, we just went in September! I'm waiting to my 11 month window ( we are DVC owners) to book for 2013!!!

That is supposed to be one of the best times to go.
We are going the first week of December. We decided not to spend the extra money for the Christmas Party. Our kids are 18 months and 3.5. They usually go to bed at around 8 (bath at 7). We thought there is plenty of entertainment to keep us occupied. I'm planning to be on the boat at 6:00 to watch the Wishes fireworks from the boat. There is the Celebrate a Dream Parade at 3:00 daily and the Main St Electric Parade.
We are also planning to watch the 6:30 Fantasmic show at Hollywood Studios and the 5:00 Candlelight Processional at Epcot.
Disney tickets are already expensive with lots of shows and parades included. Most of our disney time with be during the day.

We're going to it Nov 29th  Can't wait. We usually do the Halloween Party, so this is our first time...but I've heard it's great!

We went towards the end of November two years ago and we had THE BEST time! There were no lines, the weather wasn't hot, and the Christmas party was an unforgettable experience for us. We would go back at that time of year again in a heartbeat!

the xmas parade taping at the MK is during that time, on December 1st, so I would avoid MK that day.

Thanks so much ladies!!! I am so excited now!! How is the weather for swimming? I wonder if I should pack DS a bathing suit. We are staying at Bay Lake Towers so we can walk to MK which will be nice. We are taking a 6am flight on thurs morning and a 7pm flight on monday so we will have 5 full days which is great. Let the countdown begin!!
