If You Breastfed past a year...
How many times a day did you BF your DC at 12-13 months? Did you give him/her whole milk in addition to BM? I'm not sure if my DD is getting enough milk. TIA

If You Breastfed past a year...
At that age, my son was nursing 2-3 times a day. We offered him whole milk at least once a day to get him used to it, but as per our ped, we didnt need to worry about how much cow's milk he drank while he was still nursing. He was not a fan of cow's milk until we realized it was probably too thick for him, compared to breastmilk. So we tried skim and he loved it! Over the course of a week or 2, we slowly worked our way up to whole.

6-8x a day until about 14 months. We never gave milk. DS was nursing 4x a day until he weaned at 20 months.

If You Breastfed past a year...
I went back to work at 11 months and dd nursed just am and pm at that point. She dropped to one time per day around 13 months and we stopped completely at 14.5 months. She took whole milk 2-3 times a day from 12 months on.

At that age, she was nursing 2 times per day (morning and night) and getting a little bit of BM in a sippy cup during the day

at a year she was nursing 2-4x a day, always first thing in the morning, maybe before nap, maybe before nap #2, always before bed. she got whole milk in a cup during the day.

DS is 18 months and still nurses about every hour at home and every 3-4 hours when we are out and about. He also still nurses 1-2 times a night. He would nurse even more if I let him. He has yet to cut back on nursing. We have tried giving milk a few times and he hates it.

Approximately 4x a day at a year, sometimes more. When we weaned we did it slowly. I tried to introduce whole milk, but DD spit it at me (and still does almost a year later). I tried coconut milk with her, which she likes. Ped wasn't concerned b/c she was getting calcium and fats from other sources.

I nursed DD until she was 14 months. I started giving her whole milk around 11.5 months and stopped pumping at that point (I work PT).
I was nursing her twice a day on the days I worked and 4 times a day when I was home with her.

From 12-15 months ( he just selfweaned) he nursed 2 times a day, then just one. And we gave milk three times a day.
