How much candy do you plan to let your kids have on halloween?

DD will be 22 months old i dont even think she knows what candy is.  i guess if she asks for something i will give her something. If she get chip or pretzels or something like that she will def. ask for that and i will give it to her.
With that said DH will probably eat most of the candy and i will try not to
next year i'll see how it goes

I'll pretty much let them eat whatever - last year Sean didn't eat dinner b/c he was full of candy. Obviously, Colin didn't get any at all last year. But he's really not a sweets eater - that's all Sean.
Eh - it's ONE day of the year. I will let them have their fun and then it's over .....
I agree.. After the 3rd piece they kind of get it out of their system.
That's how it's been here. If I see DS going crazy on candy then I am sure I can distract him and save some. The only thing I take away immediately are the choking hazard candies and anything unwrapped (which rarely happens these days).

How much candy do you plan to let your kids have on halloween?
My DS is only 17 months, the most candy like thing he has ever had are dark chocolate yogurt covered raisins. We do plan on going trick or treating this year with my friend and her 2 boys. I will probably let him have some m & m's but that is it for this year. Next year he will notice more and I will be more lax but this year, the candy is for mommy and daddy!

He's 4. He can have as much as he wants on Halloween. It's one day out of the year.
