Fever and fine

Ds had a pretty off week last week. Between some family bday parties and the holidays he went to sleep late a couple of nights. Usually he's out by 7ish.
Finally got him back on track Friday, but of course he was hard to put to sleep and didn't sleep well that night. Saturday we had family over again. He was falling asleep on his uncle then woke up when we left for an early dinner. Wind up throwing up out, but then was ok the rest of the night and fine on Sunday. Meant to also say he had a low fever Saturday night too.
Just a little out of it Sunday, but no fever and went to bed early. Went to preschool fine Monday and good the rest of the day. Last night he woke up with a fever again. I gave him somethIng to drink and put a cold compress on his head. Woke up no fever and acting perfectly fine again.
BTW... He's 3.
What do you think it is?

Eta... He does have a low fever of 100.1 now. Not sending him to preschool, but don't think it's worth a doc visit either.

Re: Fever and fine

Now he seems perfectly fine so I will send him to school tomorrow. Just seems so weird to get a fever out of nowhere and be fine after.

Bump for any advise

could just be a bug or something he ate. I'm with you, Id send him in if he's acting fine and the fever is down. Honestly I sent her in with the knowledge that she woke up with 100 because the meds kept it under control, if she was otherwise ok. Then again, she's never vomited (yet)
