when did you start table foods?
DS 1 had no interest in them so he was late to start but DS 2 seems quite interested in them. He's a little over six months and has one, almost two, teeth.

Sounds exactly like my two boys. My first is 3 and still a very picky eater. DS 2 is 14 months and eats everything!!
They're like night and day! 
With DS 2 I knew he was ready b.c he picked up on babyfood so fast. Close to 7 months I tried soft fruits. First banana mashed and a day later he was taking bites of a very ripe banana. Any soft Mellon on avocado.
He got puffs fast too. Around the same time I gave him pieces of puffs then half and a day or so later he was shoveling a couple in his mouth. Even with his two teeth.

Thanks! DS 1 is not a great eater still either. I gave him a wagon wheel today and he loved it. Going to start with other soft foods shortly. He's definitely interested.
