DD is 7mths old and no teeth yet not even a hint of anything going on in her gums. I gave her some Gerber puffs the other day and she did fine with them. I want to give her other table foods but DH is worried that she won't be able to chew them because she has no teeth. I think her gums are strong enough to handle certain foods. Am I wrong?

Kaitee has 8 teeth but she NEVER uses them to eat table foods. One time I gave her a puff and she bit it with her teeth and she made a funny face.

i give jiavana table food all the time and she just has one tooth barely poking through.
i give her pasta/sauce cut up very small, chopmeat, eggs, cherrios, puffs, cheese, and anything else i am eating that i think she will be ok with.
