This. We have this and just got a video monitor but only because my two year old started beating up his brother lol. Not on purpose but not realizing he is too rough.

I have a motorola monitor. I don't know the model number, but I like it a lot. Much better than the Sony I used to have.

I also have the Baby Call. I'll be honest, sometimes we get interference, but all in all, it is great. I love that it has a voice-activated mode, so you don't have to hear the "hum" of the room all night. This is actually why we got it. I turn off the sound on my video monitor, and use this one for sound.
