Do you and DH agree on discipline?
I feel like I am the bad guy all the time. We have rules (bedtime for example) and when I try to enforce them sometimes I feel like DH doesn't have my back. He lets things slide more than I do and I hate not feeling like a cohesive front kwim? ANyone ever experience this or disagree with your partners discipline ideas?

Re: Do you and DH agree on discipline?
Yes we stand a cohesive front.
And yes, we do disagree at times.
But if I disagree with how DH handled a situation, I talk about it after the fact, not in front of our son. I feel doing so would send a mixed message to our son, and he'd learn to manipulate us.
And, if DH thinks I'm wrong, he.....Ah, who am I kidding, he knows not to disagree with me. LOL!
We always talk about the situation afterwards if we disagree.

I am always the bad guy because I have tons of rules but dh wants to be the fun parent so he won't come out & make the initial attempt at disciplining but he will support me when I do.

Re: Do you and DH agree on discipline?
Yes, absolutely. We were raised very similarly so that helps because we both ended up developing the same ideas about discipline and child rearing. We use to talk a lot about how we wanted to raise our kids before we ever even had them.
I do think he is sometimes a touch softer (or not as quick to react maybe) but it's probably because he works and doesn't see DD as much as me since I am a SAHM. I'm quicker to get in her face and put her in her place but ultimately we're on the same page and he always stands behind what I say and do, and vice versa.
