freaked out..tmi..someone talk me off the ledge

SO..TMI: beware

I had an IUD in for about 3 mths. It didn't work out for me (always bleeding - very heavy period). Went for a placement check about a month 1/2 ago - placed fine.
Ended up removing IUD last month and had nuvaring put in. (no pregnancy test done)

Anyway...took nuvaring out..started my period...I was sitting in bed(acutally hotel bed) and I felt a little damp. Pants were wet, so I went to bathroom. Took out half soaked tampon - replaced...go to flush toilet and it seriously looked like a fetus! I am 98% sure I wasn't pregnant - looked this up on line - endometiral cast. Anyone else go through this. Calling gyn tom. I won't get into gross details..but it looked like a fetus that was cut in half...so freaky!!

Could it have been a blood clot? Sometimes they can be big. Did you have cramping along with it as well?

I would say def go to the Gyn and get checked out. Also you can take a Preg test to see if you have the hormone in your system. It should still come up positive if you were.

GL hopefully its not what you thought. Take a breath and wait to see what the gyno says.
