Anyone use RTF past 48hrs?
Im using the Similac RTF formula and I know it says to discard the bottle after 48 hours but would it be that bad if I went another day (or another half a day) heres why I ask..I BF when I get home from work but during the day 8am-3pm DH is home with DS and he gets bottle fed so I dont use the entire RTF bottle since I BF when I get home. I half about 1/3 bottle left. Would it be bad to go another day?

I wouldn't I think about it as milk spoiling and I wouldnt drink spoiled milk. Perhaps powder is a better option?

Thanks for responding. Yea, I do powder also but I have a few bottles of liquid and wanted to use them up. I will throw it out, dont want to chance it I guess.

Never. I am always too scared of bacteria and ds getting sick. I only use rtf and if there is extra in the jug, past 48 hours it goes in the trash
