need christening location help
hi, i am starting to search for locations to have my DS' christening party but am running into trouble finding places in my area within my budget that can accommodate 45-50 people... church will be in seaford so i am looking for a place within a 10 minute drive if possible.. I am looking to stay under 33 pp and that must include beer and wine (some family members can really put away some drinks!).. I would also prefer a private room.. so far of all the places I called the Library Cafe in Farmingdale fits this bill BUT they told me the upstairs area only can fit 40 people.. Paddy's Loft in Massapequa also is good price wise. but the back room is too small for my # of guests and for the bigger room, I'd have to guarantee at least 55 people, which I can't do..
any other ideas? TIA!

Try Jackie Reilly's in Bethpage. MY DS Christening was there and it was great. It was BELOW your price range for all beer/wine/liquor and the food was great. The staff was amazing too!

WE just had ours at Rosemarie Pizza (merritt rd farmingdale) they have a seperate room & the cheapest we could find. It was around $23. a person depending on menu you pick. We had salad, pasta, entree & the cake from bakery the work with. It worked out great. If you want alcohol run a tab or it an extra 8.00 person. We had about 65 people. If you are not familiar with this place it is VERY Popular for the area..well known & excellent food. Go check it out.

Try La. Novella in East Meadow. Not sure of the exact price but had my baby shower there and DH told me it was a great price . The food was fantastic and there was so much. The service was excellent too!

Elisa's in Bellmore. Have had many parties there and good food too. 40 person min for entire restaurant. Starts at $28 ?? Pp.
