How old was your DC on their first long car ride?
At 6 months we drove from DC to NY. The trip home was a horrific 10+ hours. At that age it was so easy because she slept most of the way. DD is 2 now and I cringe at the possibility of having such a long drive again.

At 4 weeks, we went to Rhode Island. 3.5 hours. Just fed him right before we hopped in the car and he slept the entire way.

Is it sad that We're talking Huntington to Sheepshead Bay? Thanks to traffic it really was 90mins!!!!!
Born late Aug and I think the first time we went was Oct or Nov.
After that the next long long trip was 9m old to San Antonio of course.
Generally speaking she slept solid for 3hrs then woke up for food, diaper and wiggle time.
ETA:
9m trip from NY to TX (4days)
1 and a half Trip to a lake house (4hours)
2yrs trip to State Aquarium (3hrs)
2yrs and half trip from TX to Iowa and back (2days)
3yrs trip back to Aquarium
4yrs Trips all over NY/NJ (this past week) Longest has to have been Hempstead to Aberdeen NJ
My kiddo is a traveler!

4 months. We drove from NC to NY (and back a week later). It took us 14 hours because we had to stop every three hours so I could nurse DD. DD handled it pretty well until the last hour and a half (both ways) and of course we hit bumper to bumper in NJ (UGH) and DD screamed her head off.
We will be doing the drive again this Nov and Dec (DD will be 15 and 16 months, respectively)

5 months - LI to southern NJ so a little less than 2 hours. he slept the whole time.

As an infant she was WAY too colicy to go anywhere.
Even the supermarket.
It was pretty much screaming 24/7 for the first 6 months!
She hated the car- it was God awful.
We waited until 2 and did abou a 4 hour road trip.
We were a nervous wreck- as she is a HIGH HIGH MAINTENANCE 2 year old- but she did MUCH better than we expected!

6 months old we went to New Hampshire. Was a 4 hour trip she did great we left around 8 pm so she sleep the whole way there.

How old was your DC on their first long car ride?
We did a 3 hour drive when she was 8 weeks. It was the easiest trip we've taken. At 4 months, her longest ride so far has been 7.5 hours. Going was easy and we did it with 2 stops. Coming home DD was not so happy and we had to stop 4 times but we managed.

6 weeks old. Drove to PA from Long Island. Was 3.5 hours. Made one stop at the rest area to give him a bottle and for us to pee. He did fine.

For at least 90 minutes, both kids at 10 weeks. It was the easiest trip because they napped for the entire ride.

I think first time was. 6 weeks old. Could been earlier. Jersey shore. About 1 1/2 to 2 hours. It's not hard really. Just feed them and get on the road right after!

DS was 5 months we went from NY to Florida.
DD - Not sure she has even been in the car for 90 minute without stopping at all. She is impossible in the car if she is awake!!

DS1 was 8 weeks. We drove to my parents' house, which is about 2.5 hours away. DS2 was 5 weeks. We drove to my parents' house and then to PA the next day. With the traffic, it ended up taking about 4 hours.
