Re: Anyone naturally induce labor successfully?
Baby #2 I went into labor on my own, on my due date, but Babies #1 and #3 had to be "helped".
Baby #1 I got desperate and did the castor oil (with midwives' permission). It was a LONG labor but I wasn't medically induced.
Baby #3, I had chicken enchiladas the night before I went into labor. Woke up with contractions 2 min apart and he was born 4 hours later.

I started taking megadoses of evening primrose oil and forcing DH to DTD twice a day. After a few days of that my water broke.

Anyone naturally induce labor successfully?
On the day I went into labor, I did a ton of walking. Then i had some franks red hot sauce on chicken wings for dinner and bam! My contractions kicked into high gear. In all honesty though, I was having contractions for a day or 2 and was so tired of not progressing more and not sleeping at night that I got desperate LOL

Re: Anyone naturally induce labor successfully?
I feel like I'm progressing because I'm getting strong menstrual cramps for weeks now and even mild contractions. I need to help this along! Okay, hot wings, walking, and DTD. Not sure I could handle that castor oil

Re: Anyone naturally induce labor successfully?
My doc. told me to have 3 tablespoons of castor oil in OJ...I refused and took 1. It did absolutely nothing. The next night I took 2tablespoons..still nothing.
I never took more because I was afraid of being in the bathroom all night and being dehydrated...didn't want to go in to labor in that condition. I ended up being induced in hospital.
Take lots of walks in the morning when it is cool out!!
Good luck!

worked for me too! That and having eggplant Parmesan for dinner (someone told me to try that and I was willing to try anything!). So I had my eggplant parm and then later when we went to bed we and labor started about 30 minutes later... I was 39 weeks and was only 1cm dilated at my check up 2 days prior.

This is what I did both times and we the same night. Both times my water broke in the middle of the night. Good luck. On a side note make sure if you that he finishes inside, the prolactin in sperm helps induce labor.

Re: Anyone naturally induce labor successfully?
I've heard that there are pressure points in the feet and ankles that will induce labor. I would make yourself an appointment for a pedi with extra massage and let them go to town on your feet. If it doesn't work at least your toes look nice!
This was my plan for the Thursday before my due date but Dd ended up having other plans. I went into labor that Thursday morning!

Climb up and down the stairs for 30 minutes. 4 hours later I was in full labor mood.

Anyone naturally induce labor successfully?
Coincidence maybe but the day my water broke I used a "birthing"/ exercise ball and looked at YouTube moves haha and ate spicy Thai food for dinner.
