Am I forgetting anything?

That sounds like plenty of food. Do you have something specifically for the kids like chicken fingers, fries, and/or Mac n cheese?

Plenty of food. For 40 people I had 2 trays of hot, sandwich platter and cold salads. SO you should have PLENTY of food. I even had a ton of leftover and could have cut down.
I ran out of water but it was also a 90+ degree day so people were opting for water over other drinks

That sounds like a lot of food and you will probably have a ton of leftovers but itts better to have more than not enough. I would suggest having more water and less soda. Unless you know that your guests are big soda drinkers.

I think thats more then enough food, we are having about approx 35 adults and 20 kids and I am doing pizza (ordering for the adults too), heroes and pasta salad and then cake/cupcakes/fruit for dessert.
