anyone know of toddler classes that are in the evening or saturday afternoons? I Feel like FTWM's get shafted on this :(
i am a FTWM and i work Saturday mornings til 11-11:30 as well but i would like to put my 14th month old in a mommy and me type class.
does anyone know of any places that offer evenings or saturday afternoons? im in massapequa.
it seems like all the classes are in the day. doesnt seem so fair to the moms who have to work

I'm not sure if there is a Little Gym near you but the one I belong to has Saturday/Sunday morning classes and also one evening a week.

Maybe check out Music Together. I believe While They're Little offers MT classes around 12:30 on Saturdays.

I agree!!! I am a teacher and was in the same position last year. I did end up finding a Little Gym class on Fridays at 4, which worked out well. (It was in Smithtown.) Our library in East Islip has a few on the weekend but not many.
I looked into the YMCA for the fall and it looks like they have some too.

oh it's funny that I caught this post...i just saw that wantagh library is having a mommy and me group at 6:45 on monday nights in the fall...i threw out the paper because it won't work for me but maybe you can check out the website if you are interested. the library is right off sunrise on wantagh ave.

I don't live anywhere near you, but I found a few Music Together programs due weekends and last school year I did a Mommy and Me swim at Saf T swim

I know this isn't the kind of class you were thinking but our local library has a lot of programs on Saturdays and some in the evenings as well.

i have done classes there and i'm from seaford. preference always goes to residents for library stuff but sometimes i get right in, sometimes i am waitlisted and then it's a toss up if i get in or not. i've been shut out of stuff at my own library. really just depends how popular it is and i don't know how popular this one is.

i will suggest as well! music together and your library. sometimes you can find swim-mommy and me-classes in the evening

I put ddd in mommy and me gymnastics and gold medal gymnastics they have a few locations. Classes were at 5:35 on a wend. I also am doing safety swim on a Sunday.
