stroller vs umbrella stroller (family trip)
We are flying to Myrtle Beach with our 15 month old (first family trip, whoo). I LOVE my stroller (because of it's food tray and storage) and have been planning to bring that with us however now I am thinking that I should get an umbrella stroller (because it's compact) instead. Opinions and experiences? TIA! :)

Re: stroller vs umbrella stroller (family trip)
We traveled to California recently with our full-size stroller. It was fine. We gate-checked it on the plane so we had it right until boarding. And it was nice that we had it on our trip, because we spent hours walking and DD was comfortable. I think 15 months might be kind of young to spend a long time in an umbrella stroller.
The only downside was that with our luggage, it was a PITA getting the stroller in the trunk of the car. But that only mattered when we were picking up and then returning the rental car.

We went to Miami in March and I curb checked (in a stroller bag) our full sized stroller. DD naps so much better in that and I knew that we'd be out and about for naps. I loved having it with me!

We just went to Disney for 8 days and brought our regular stroller.
DS still takes 2 naps during the day and falls alseep around 9 so we need the full sized stroller that lays all the way back. We were out the door by 8:30-9 and back to the hotel room at 10.
We just checked it at the flight gate. No problem!
