day trip to Wash DC - which stroller?
we'll be in D.C. on Saturday, then VA for Easter.
There's room in the car for either stroller, so that's not the issue.
Which one would you bring? Full size Greco or Maclaren quest?
maclaren:
-PROS: extremely lightweight, small to store, currently has bundleme on it (the kid won't keep a blanket on, he kicks everything off). has plastic rain shield if it's windy or chilly.
-CONS: basket is so small, its not usable for the large diaper bag I'll need (also concerned with tipping if I hang it off the handles). reclines, but not totally flat. Smaller seating area than the greco.
greco:
-PROS: large basket, lots of space, snack tray for baby, reclines totally flat, much sturdier than the maclaren
-CONS: heavy, bulky.

I woulkd do the Graco personally. If you are out and about he can probably sleep better in that...

For the same reason Melissa posted, as well as the big basket.
I've been using my MetroLite more and more lately.

If you are going to be doing a lot of walking/touring things, then I would definitely vote for the Graco. If you are just going to be in and out of the car/dinner, etc, then the Maclaren

ditto. DS will never sleep in an umbrella style stroller.

I would do the Graco. A full day in DC you are going to need to cart around a bunch of stuff. I personally like a stroller with the big basket when I am going to have that kind of a day.
