Professional pictures for Christening?
Did anyone have professional pictures done of little one in christening outfit?
For some reason, I am not sure if this is the norm to do so. My family always took their own pictures.
I know it is a personal decision but wanted to see what others have done. TIA

I had pictures taken ahead of time in his outfit, and we used them as centerpieces. I used a good friend, Shannon Timoney.

Professional pictures for Christening?
Some do portraits like your talking about just of the outfit, maybe a family photo ahead of time as a portrait session and some do the event (getting dressed at the house - baptism then formals -party.)

We did a big party so I wanted to hire a professional photographer. She was there for the ceremony and reception. Took pics of all the details and I am so glad I did get a professional.

I didn't find it necessary.
I barely look at her christening pictures anyway.
She is 2 now and I thnk I looked at them once.
It's just not something I go back to and look at much.

Professional pictures for Christening?
I had portraits done at Target a few days after the Christening for my first son & I'm going to do the same with this little guy.
