picture when pregnant
Do any of you have a picture of yourself when you were pregnant with your LO? Why or why not?
Although I hated being "fat" I had DH take a picture of me towards the end with my first child because I felt this was an important time in life. With second one ... just two pictures taken months before standing with mom and son. Things got so busy around the house and dealing with a toddler .. things became crazy. I'm just upset that there was not one taken right before I had DD with a shirt on and bare belly. I now realize it was "OK' at that point in my life to be fat and have a belly. It makes me very sad

Yes, about midway through and then at my shower. I wasn't one to take a picture every month. I am regretful and will do it more often next time around. And I would also be sad that I didn't have more pictures in the hospital with the baby. 
What did you end up naming her?

Yup.... I think any picture will do. With DS I took pics in his nursery preggo. With dd I was putting lights up on the tree. Didn't know it was such a great belly shot until later.
I know the feeling of thinking you are huge.... I'm not that type that is skinny with a big belly... But I'm retrospect pictures always look better than you think.

I hate pictures of myself. I only have one of me about a week or do before I gave birth and that was my parents picture. I don't regret it at all. Ton of ds though.

I avoided cameras like the plague while pregnant.
I hated every single second of looking that way and having to wear materinty clothes.
Then, 3 days before I delivered I said to DH, well we might as well get ONE shot of me pregnant, since this will probably never happen again! 
So he took 2 pictures of me and that is all I have.
I only show them to people with my head cropped out- because I hated how gross and bloated my face looked.
But belly wise I looked pretty cute...
Feet, hands and face- that's another story!

I took weekly pictures to watch my belly grow, partly for my Mom who lives OOS. But I do love those pictures.

I took pictures of myself every 6 weeks or so, mostly just from the neck down, because I wanted to rememeber the progression of my pregnancy. I hope I remember to take them with the next one too. I think it's fun to remember that time and I didn't mind the way I looked being pregnant. It was finally ok for me to "have a belly"

I took a weekly pic to see the changes. I'm glad I have them now. Me and DH are the only ones that have ever seen them though.
The only other ones are from my shower and from our babymoon.

I didn't specifically take any pictures just to have pregnant photos. But I do have a number of pictures with me in them from events, etc. when I was pregnant. I LOVED being pregnant, I loved my body, and I always like looking back at photos of pregnant me knowing now who was growing in my huge belly!

yes. i have a few throughout but one night towards the end DH got really drunk and wanted to do a photo shoot (he is not a photographer, never had an interest in photography, totally weird). So now I have about 50 pics of me in weird positions he told me to get into (totally PG of course lol!). I guess I'm thankful for it bc now I have pics of my belly from all angles

I took 3 pictures when I was pregnant with DS. I wish I took more when I was pregnant with him. This time around I tried to be better about taking pictures just to remind me of my pregnancy.

i took a ton of belly pics but not with my head in them LOL.
i was really excited to get a lot of pics of me pregnant at my shower but then i went on hospital bedrest and had to postpone my shower. i ended up delivering the day before my shower. so i never ended up getting any good pics of me pregnant.i was def sort of sad about it. next time around i hope to take more.

But that was not your fault that you had to go into the hospital early to deliver. I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. I was having a c -section and knew. DH said I was doing a lot of last minute things and with a toddler things got crazy.

i'm not a picture person and try to avoid the cameras as much as possible when pregnant. Other than pictures from my shower or pictures where I was hanging out with my kids there are no special belly shots of me.

99% of the pics of me prego are headless. The only time I let anyone take pics with my head in it was at my shower. I tried to take weekly pics. I wish I was more consistent especially at the end.
