Let the stupid comments begin!
We're having another girl. I've had a bunch of people ask how my DH is "taking it."
1) He's THRILLED to have another girl. DD is totally Daddy's girl; no doubt this one will be, too.
2) Even if he wasn't... it's a little late for a refund, no?

Omg I almost punched MIL in the face on Saturday. We went to her house to show her the 12 week sono pic, and she looks at me and says "Whoa are you sure there isn't two in there???"
Umm so far I only gained 7 pounds and I'm just about in my 2nd trimester. But apparently this A hole thinks I'm a whale.
So I feel your pain. I wish it was socially acceptable to tell people to shut the f up LOL

OMG totally understand you. This is the reason why I haven't told anyone. We have 3 girls and I know once they find, the stupid commenst are going to start. I'm so not looking forward to this. Wish I could disappear and return with my baby once he/she is born.

People said the same stuff to me when we found out we were having a boy! They were like "oh, your husband must be so thrilled or excited" or some variation of that. I was like "umm... I guess?" -- I hadn't even really thought about it and he didn't express any extra excitement over the gender revealed one way or another. I'm still in shock over it and still half wonder if it's really a girl in there.

I dont understand it either. I got a lot of comments about how now i can be done since i was having twins... i want to ask them now if im allowed to have another since im no longer having twins.

It drives me crazy!! I have two boys and am now having a girl. People always say "aw, you finally got your girl", "there's nothing like a mother/daughter relationship" etc. etc.
Like I'd keep having kids until I got the opposite gender!! I would have been just as happy if I had another boy. (I actually wanted another boy!! ,but am happy to be having a girl)

People just speak without thinking -
I have 2 boys .....everyone keeps asking me when I'm going to 'try for my girl' .......I tell them I'm not. Shop's closed. I don't want another PERSON.
Then they continue "oh, but you HAVE to have a girl' ..........Um, no actually, God says I don't have to have a girl ! He gave me 2 boys ....His opinion trumps yours - The End.

Two girls would THRILL me and DH!! It's so nice to have a sister.
I'm afraid we are going to have to sedate my MIL if this baby is a girl. She's already said she would prefer a boy and doesn't really like little girls and our first IS a girl!

Oh do I hear this often!! My Dh coaches 3 seasons of sports and is a physical education teacher. Everyone says your poor husband he deserves a boy. You have to try for a 3rd. It drives me insane.
