Splish Splash Riverhead

If you have been would you mind answering some questions for me?

1. Is it Clean?

2. Is it appropriate for a 6 year old AND a 2 year old?

3. Are there any down days that the lines are not as long? thinking of friday

4. Is it an all day affair or can I get away with a half day?

5. Are the facilities good?

6. Are there sprinkle pools?

Thanks so muchChat Icon

Yes it's clean, very clean, and it's appropriate for both of those ages.

There are several kiddie areas, so look at the map when you go. The area where the Big Kahuna wave pool is has sand, so bring buckets, etc. That's our favorite area of the park, since it's not in the woods like the rest of the park.

Friday is probably packed with camp field trip days and people off on Fridays. I would probably avoid that day to be honest. A half day is fine if you don't plan on going on the waterslides that have lines. Which you probably can't anyway with a 2 year old.

If you plan to go twice this season, it makes sense to get the season pass, since it pays for itself in less than 2 visits.

You cannot bring any food in whatsoever, they are so strict about it. You can however bring in a bottle of water.

We rented a cabana next to the Kahuna Bay wave pool, and it was nice. Service was crappy though, so we ended up getting half of our money back for it. Granted, this was opening weekend, so maybe it's better now.

I'm not sure, probably Saturday is worse. I would go on a Monday or Tuesday.

They have some picnic tables outside and they will stamp your hand so you can come back in...so if u wanted to bring a cooler with stuff to leave in your car and eat outside the park thats an opinion

I think Friday may be worse. During the week, they get day camps that come in so it does get crowded from that. On the weekends, it's crowded more with families.

I went last Friday, and it was packed. The lines to most of the rides took about an hour. I stayed with DS who is 3yrs old in the wave pool and the kiddie zone areas. That wasnt busy and he really enjoyed it.
