What age did you start to give Cheerios?
My little guy is almost 8 months old and I was considering cheerios -- too soon?
Any other table foods to try?

What age did you start to give Cheerios?
DS is almost 9 months old and I just started giving him Cheerios here and there and he's doing fine with it. I started with Puffs about a month or so ago and then on to Cheerios.

I just started "cheerios" (i got some organic brand which are lighter, and thinner - dissolve easier) last week. She will be 9 mos next week. So... 8.5 mos (i am a math whiz).

My boys really like the Gerber wagon wheels. They come in different flavors and can hold them in their hands and eat them.
We tried shredded cheese yesterday.
I'm going to try cottage cheese today.
They hated pastina. I'm going to try tubetini.
They are 10 months but 8 adjusted because they were born early. We are struggling a bit with textures and swallowing so I'm going slow.

I would try it and just break it up into a couple of pieces. I believe I started around that time with Cheerios.

somewhere around 8-9 m we started puffs and then cheerios once she was used to puffs. for a while i broke them in half since she had no teeth but once she was used to the texture and how much chewing she needed to do, i started giving them whole.
