beach help

Want to take my almost 1 year old to the beach and we usually go to nickerson beach and we want to go to a beach where the water is closer to the entrance does anyone have a beach they go to with their kids that they recommend? We love pt lookout but am open to suggestions.

Someone posted the same question and a bunch of people posted that Lido Beach West had an easy entrance to the beach...Never went but I saved that post so I can one day go this summer.

I would suggest Lido West as well. That's where we go with DD. It's not a far walk to the water and it's not as busy as the other beaches in the area so it's a great place to take the kids.

Lido West is down the road from Nickerson. If you are at Nickerson, you will have to get on Lido Blvd. and head West. It would be past Marvel's and it would be on your left-hand side (the fire house is across the street from the entrance I believe). I don't think there is really a sign for the entrance, so you'll have to keep an eye out for it.
