I don't have a daughter, but if I ever do, I will wait until she is old enough to choose to have her ears pierced. I wouldn't do something permanent to her before she is old enough to decide she wants it. My 2 sisters and I all had ours pierced around ages 4-6. We got them at a jewelry store in the mall.

She's going to be 4 in August. No piercing. I wnated to do it when she was an itty bitty baby but my pedi would not. I didn't feel right going to a mall. I was going to go to my tattoo parlor but just got so busy then I was moving and then she got too old so I am set to wait.

Our peds office does it. When the day comes that DD wants it, we will get it done there. I dont trust some random person at the mall, JMO

I wanted to do it when she was an infant, but DH was against it. Now she is 4 and DH says we should have done it already. Our pediatrician does it in the office.

DD was 4 months old. Did it at the mall as our ped does not do it. My DD didn't even notice.

We did it at 3 months at the pediatrician. DD did not cry any more or longer than a regular vaccination.

DD was almost 9 months old and we did it at Piercing Pagoda because my ped doesn't do it. It was totally fine. She cried for half a second.

I plan on doing it at 3 or 4 months (DD is 7weeks now)... My ped does it.. Puts numbing cream on a half hour before so DD should not feel a thing
