Just remeber unless you are going to another country chances are you will be near a store where you can buy things.

I usually just make a list while I go through a normal day at home and mark down the things I use. I'm pretty OCD and I hate thinking I may be leaving stuff I need behind. My DH always reminds me we are never going somewhere that I couldn't just buy replacements!

I do the same. I just run through a regular day in my head and write down all the items I use.
