try New Hope PA. Its a nice drive and has great stores and restaurants. It a really nice place to visit for the weekend

We visited Saratoga this Summer and loved it. We stayed here Batcheller Mansion and it was a very short walk to the town.

DH and I just went to the Red Lion Inn in Mass. It's about a three hour drive, but the hotel is gorgeous and it included breakfast. We had dinner at the house too which was yummy. We did one night and went to the Norman Rockwell Museum. It was very romantic.

DH and i have stayed HERE a few times. its great! its about 20-30 minutes from AC, so you could go there if you want to take the drive. theres 2 very good restaurants right at the hotel for a nice meal... and the hotel itself is just very relaxing and romantic.... let me know if you have any other questions! we stayed there twice...

A B&B or an inn on the North Fork? I've stayed at Jedediah Hawkins Inn (gorgeous!! We're going back in March) and the Shinn Farmhouse (also wonderful). Tour the wineries, eat meals made from great local ingredients, relax with a glass of wine and a board game...relaxing and beautiful out there!

how about the poconos?
DH and I just got back from Caesar's Paradise Stream and loved it. we've been many times before - its perfect for a romantic getaway.
get a lakeside villa. i wouldn't stay in any other room.
