Does your DH/SO go with you to all your appointments?
DH came with me to my first prenatal appointment at 8 weeks. I go for my 12 week in 2 1/2 weeks. I was just gonna tell him not to worry about it b/c i figured it would just be going over my blood work; weighing nothing major.
And my NT scan is the week after that; I was just going to go by myself right after work; I didn't even think for DH to come with me. Would they even let him in the room? (I'm going to LIJ for it)

DH went with me to the first and goes to the big one (NT, Level II, BPT and NST)

Mine likes to come every single time. I've let him off the hook and he'll be like no it's fine, make it for the evening so I can come.

Mine did up until they became every-other week and then weekly - too hard with his work schedule, but if he knows there will be a sono he makes sure he is there.

My DH went with me to my first one with the RE, my first one with the OB, my Amnio, 20 Weeks and then that was it.
I didn't make him go to the monthly since it was just check in and then once I hit 28 weeks I had 2 appts a week because I was seeing the high risk and my OB. THere was no way DH was taking that much time off of work.

DH only goes to sonos with me. I would definitely have him come with you to your NT u/s. It's really exciting to get to see the baby!!! Plus you want him there for that and the anatomy scan in case they need to have the doctor come talk to you right away. (That happened to us at our anatomy scan with DD -- the tech saw a spot on her heart and they rushed us in to see the doctor and schedule a follow-up with the perinatologist right away.)

DH went to every appt with me, but then we changed drs and its in the city during the work day so he cant. He's going to try to come to as many as he can.

With DD DH came to the first 2 or 3 apts but we quickly realized that the regular office visits are pretty boring and uneventful. Once we realized that he just came to the sono's (although he missed the 12 week one where you really see the baby jumping around for the first time becuase he got lost meeting me there   ). This time around we'll do the same. I just can't see any reason to drag him to watch me get weighed, BP taken, pee in a cup and talk to the doctor for 5 minutes. It's boring for me so I can only imagine how he feels.

thanks for sharing!! I'll have him pass on the 12 week appt; but bring him to the NT scan! I'm sure he wants to see the baby as much as possible; but definitely don't want to bore him with the office visits where it's just blood; weighing; urine and chat with the OB LOL!

DH comes with me to every appointment, he actually looks fwd to them. i had an appt this morning and his work schedule was changed so he couldn't make it.. i said i would go on my own but he asked me to reschedule it (going tues instead).. he likes to come to all of them bc he said he likes to hear the heartbeat, even tho its a quick appt. for the monthly's. & he LOVESS going for the sonograms
ETA: i'm sure once my appts get more frequent he wont be able to make all of them, but for now he has come to all of them

Like most others my DH only came with me to the important ones (first appt, all sonos, etc.). I told him no need to come with me to the monthly (now bi-weekly) because it's just weight, blood pressure and heart beat. (I record the heart beat on my phone so he can hear it when I get home.) A couple of appts ago he came with me to a monthly. My doctor walks in to the room and says "oh, it's the phantom". He said "why did she say that am I supposed to be here for them all?" I said not at all, she's just trying to be funny. I admit it was a little off color and surprising that she said that, but oh well.
So, now he comes with me to all of them

I go for sonos every other week and I am able to schedule them for when DH is off so he can come. I go to the OB in between but I just go there whenever and don't schedule around DH.

My DH came with me to every single appointment so far. Absolutely everything- except my 3 hour glucose test because I knew it would be boring for him and my mom insisted on going with me anyway- so I didn't need two supports. He hates missing anything with the baby, even if it is just a heartbeat appointment.

My DH comes to the big sonos with me...
NT, Anamony Scans, Growth Scan... I didnt see the need at every visit when its only a quick check up...

DH came to all of my appts when pregnant with DD, but this time he came to my first appt, the NT scan, and anatomy scan.
I'm sure he would love to go to the NT scan because he will get to see the little one! Its not that big of a deal if he's not at the regular appts but i would invite him to the NT scan and anatomy scan. You get to see the little one on the screen for like 30 minutes! He's not going to want to miss that!

He has come to the majority of them. For my OB appointments I tell him not to come since they are really quick.

I never even thought of that! I'll definitely make sure to keep my phone handy at my 12 week appt if DH cant make it and record the HB.

So far he's been to every appointment with me except for one when he had the flu. He would definitely not miss a sono since he loves to see the baby too. I'm assuming that once I have to start going weekly he won't be able to come with me to every appointment due to his work schedule, but for now he says he likes coming with me.
