BRU PRICES- LADIES BE CAREFUL
So I just want to give all you ladies a heads up when you register. You may want to also tell close family members and/or friends as well that shop based on your registry...
WORD OF ADVICE: Double check the prices online and print a copy of your registry BEFORE going to BRU. Dont just go there and have them print it...
FIRST VENT: They dont send you a completion coupon until 2 weeks before your due date and they refuse to send it any sooner. RIDICULOUS! I got my BBB one like 6-8 weeks before my due date...
WHAT HAPPENED: So I went to purchase a few things I didnt get at my shower. I printed my registry at home and brought it with me THANK GOD I DID THAT!
When I went to the checkout counter every single item came up more expensive than the price listed on my registry. The girl did a price adjustment for me on just about every single item. The items were anywhere from $5-7 cheaper on the registry printout than it was at the store.
The most MAJOR price difference was on the humidifier. It was marked on my registry as $38.24, in the store it came up $51.99!!! Thats insane!
NOW TO VENT: Because she did a price adjustment to meet THEIR OWN PRICE, they wouldnt allow me to use a 20% coupon on those items AND they only allowed me to use 1 20% off coupon. I wasnt very happy about that... Its your prices your adjusting to meet not another store!!! They couldnt even explain why there was a price difference... AND everyone there moves sooo slow and doesnt want to help...
So beware and double check all the prices!

I noticed that too and questioned it. That is really shady!!!!!!! I much prefer BBB over BRU.

Wow that's insane!!!! I didn't register at BRU - I registered at BBB and PB so I'll make sure to print my list to see if anything like that happens there, too.

this is pretty common with many stores, not just BRU. for many companies online stores and brick & mortar stores aren't the same prices. its just cheaper to sell online (cheaper overhead), so obviously the prices would be cheaper online.
that being said, they should've let you use your coupons since you weren't buying the specified items "on sale" persay, they were just price-adjusting them to meet online prices. you should actually consider yourself lucky because some stores won't be nice and just price adjust cause it's cheaper online, it really depends on the store policy.

I'll preface this by saying, I hate BRU but sometimes I found things that would be on sale online only came up more expensive at the store. Either way, couldn't be possible for THAT many items you had. So annoying!

I had a cart full of stuff that were price adjusted. The humidifier blew me away though...
And I know I was better off with the price adjustments vs the 20% coupon because the price adjustments were cheaper for me... So I appreciate the girl just did it no questions asked... And did it for almost every item like I said...
Did not have this issue at BBB... I was there already LOL I ADORE that store! The staff is so friendly, they have everything there in stock and are just so helpful...

I learned this the hard way and bought like 5 items that ended up being WAY more expensive than we priced out online before rushing out to the store. The Dreft detergent was almost $10 dollars more. 
I printed out the online registry when I got home and compared it to the one they gave me in the store and every single item was overpriced!!! Every single one!!!
So, we learned our lesson and it was frustrating but now we said we will buy mostly everything at BBB or order from BRU only online. It is sad to know I won't be able to use our completion code, I was hoping they would issue it early. I know BBB lets you use it earlier if you want.

if I was you I would have bought all the items online and had them shipped to the store. You probably would have gotten the lower price and have been able to use the coupon.

This happened to us at Target too! Our baby monitor was $25 cheaper online...and the rock and play was $10 cheaper online.

Yup, BRU's prices are $10-$30 more per big tickets items than Target or Walmart. Everyone should do a price check before buying anything at BRU. The place is a rip-off!

I had the same issue with bottles - they ended up price adjusting but, they told me that they usually don't price match their own website...

I agree with this. I once went to Barnes and Noble to buy my mom a coffee table book. Online, it was $35. In the store it was about $50! Their online prices are just cheaper.
I do agree that overall, BRU is a ripoff, and you're better off buying stuff elsewhere if you can.
