Scheduled csec moms did you wear makeup?
Had my pre-op testing today and was told I can't wear any makeup! I wore makeup during l&d last time and had makeup on during my csec. I just want to wear at least foundation and some blush. Is this some new rule? Did you wear makeup?

LOL! I asked the same thing b4 mine
I did wear a little. Never was told not to. Just some foundation and blush. Wanted to look somewhat decent for pics.

i didn't - was told no makeup and no jewelry. Delivered a NSUH...ohh and i was told NOT to shave down there!!!!

I remember being told no jewelry but I don't remember anything about make-up. I don't think I had any make-up on though.

Not only that, but I went for a blowout too before each of my scheduled c-sections! 
Seriously, no one told me not to. I had one in 2007 at LIJ and one in 2010 at NSUH. They did tell me no contacts with the last one though. What about the people who go into labor wearing makeup and then wind up with a c/s? They tell them to wash their face first??

I wore makeup for all my c-sections, including the two that were scheduled. I would never listen to that rule!

Ummmm......I hope that's not the case at my hospital because last time i went in was an emergency and i was a hot mess being that i was on bedrest and went to the hospital unplanned. This time i planned on wearing a little make-up as well as getting a haircut and my hair blown out the day before and also a mani/pedi a day or two before  I refuse to go it looking the way i did last time, lol!

Yes, I did - for both mine. No mascara, or eye makeup, but foundation and blush

I wasn't scheduled but I went to a high risk appt and found out I had to have the babies that day. I was allowed to go home and shower.....I blew my hair out and put on my regular makeup (i don't wear alot). wasnt a problem except my dr called me to say I was taking too long

Hells yeah! Everyone commented on how good I looked! And the next day I got up flatironed my hair and bf.

hell yeah. i was a whale!
i knew i wanted to look good in pics with my new babies.
i had my hair blown out and makeup on.
on day 3, nurse told me i could wash my hair... i was like no thanks, i want this blow out for going home pics.
