I always appreciate the sentiment and thought, but I rarely eat them. I only eat them if I know the family REALLY well.

ditto

Same here. I think it's super sweet for someone to take the time to make them but I am nervous about other people's care in the kitchen.

I'm not a teacher, but I have heard from many they won't eat the stuff.

Just some food for thought, but how many people buy cookies, cakes, cupcakes etc. from people who work out of their homes? You have no idea what their kitchen is like, what pets they have, etc. etc., unless you have toured their house (which is unlikely). They are not regulated by the health department like a real bakery.

There are a select few parents who I would eat homemade stuff from. My husband, on the other hand, would it eat from anyone so I'd give it to him

earlier this morning there was a new post. It was someone pushing a business but writing like they were just commenting.
It really bothered me actually. I'm glad it is down.

We never receive any homemade baked goods. I would love them!

I'm not sure teachers would necessarily want them. I think they prefer gift cards or similiar.

Agree with what everyone is saying!

Honestly I love when the parents write a thank you note! It means so much!

Totally agree! Notes are my FAVORITE gifts.
(And to the OP I eat nothing homemade unless I know the family well Chat Icon )
