Acid like feeling in throat?
Ugh! For the past week, no matter what I eat or don't eat, I have this horrible acid like feeling in my throat! It use to only occur when I ate spicy food during this pregnancy but now it is occurring all the time-day and night! I can't take it any more. Any advice or remedies?

Should I call my ob?
It is seriously making me miserable the last few days and is just getting worse.
Does anyone know if this is normal to happen towards the end- I am almost 35 weeks

zantac 150...Lifesaver when I was pregnant. One a day is totally fine and worked wonders for me...

Yes I took it my entire pregnancy. My reflux was so bad at the end I never went anywhere without it

I have this SO bad. My doctor told me to take Zantac - I've been taking Zantac 75 one to two times a day. In fact, I am getting it right now - I think I'll take one

yes i get this from time to time w/ my heartburn... i just take tums, but i know, it stinks...

It's the WORST...and yes I noticed it got worse later in pregnancy. I just take Tums...in fact I think I'm keeping Tums in business! Maye I should buy some of their stock.

You don't need a prescription for Zantac. It's OTC. There's a 75 and a 150 type. I started with the lower and ended up moving to the max towards the end of my pregnancy last time because the hb was so bad. If a nb is diagnosed with reflux, they actually give the baby zantac too, sometimes! That's how I was convinced it was safe, when my OB told me that.

I had the same thing it was what I thought was/ is heartburn. I just pop the Berry TUMS and it seems to help cause its powdery and sticks there for a while. The trick is not to drink or eat anything for a while after you take it.

im living on tums.. i sleep with them.. myheartburn is the worst at night.. i wake up with acid issues. i can tolerate it during teh day..
