I'm a SAHM and my DH's days off rotate so our "weekends" change week to week. We are almost always out on his first day off, and we usually stay home on his 2nd day off.
When he has a 4 day weekend (Friday - Monday off) we go out 3 of the 4 days.

BOTH! But usually have friends or family here when we are home. We never just do "nothing" which would be nice if we didn't have kids. Doing "nothing" with kids is more torture and less relaxing then going out and doing something.

Usually saturdays are like that for us..out doing something with DS, errands, etc. Sundays we try to keep it light.

I'd say about half and half. Some weekends we are lucky to get out of our pajamas. Others we are lucky to be home for more than just sleeping.

Some weekends we are jam packed with things to do and sometimes we have lazy weekends where we don't have a ton of plans and might sit around watch tv and order in. It depends. I like both types of weekends and when I have had too much of one type of weekend I crave the other

It varies. Our kids are grown so we try to do things with them regularly. DH works almost every Saturday morning and I usually have work to do from home. We have a vacation place that we try to get to once a month but we also have home improvements projects going in our Main house that take up our time. Then there are parties and other stuff. The weekends go by too quickly.

Couldn't have said it better myself! When the weekend hits, we are outta here, all day every day. Even if it is just running errands.

Depends on the weekend. Sometimes we are out all day both days, and others we are home both days.
Same here. When I travel for work during the week, sometimes I just want to stay home and do nothing. Other weekends, we have stuff to do like keeping up with the kids' social calendar or family events. I prefer to run errands alone without kids and hubby.

Totally depends on the weekend. I could never stay home the whole day though.
Lately DH has been doing alot of work around the house so I will take the kids out for part of the day so he can get more done.
Otherwise we always do something. We have close friends that live around the corner so we will meet up, have friends over, go over friends/family, go to the gym, go to the park, do an errand that DH and I have to do together.

If I'm off, I try to stay home. I can't stand going out to the stores etc when it's crowded, I work weekends a good percentage of the time.

We shoot for one day out and one day home. I like to cook on the weekends for the week. I always need a day to just chill in sweats and not put on makeup and what not and DD seems to be the same way. She needs a day to just hang at home.
