Just curious - Poll - Do you stay home on the weekends?
I'm just curious if I'm in the minority here but we are NEVER home on the weekends! From 11 to after dinner on Saturdays and maybe 11 to 6 on Sundays we are out. Shopping, doing something our DC, going out to eat, etc. Does everyone do this? Thanks for sharing!

Usually one and one, but it varies. Ifit were up to me, I'd always spend Sunday at home- relaxing, catching up on chores, reading, etc.

I put "always" home, but it's not "always". Most of the time, we're home, but if we have errands, we of course go out. DC have soccer practice and games nearby on the weekends.

Im a SAHM so I try to get all shopping done during the week when the stores are less crowded. Sundays are usually our days to get stuff done around the house.

Eh, there's no real pattern that we have. I work on the weekends so I'm out and about most of the weekend.
I think in general, this time of year is very busy with graduations, showers, graduations etc.
I agree, I wish I could stay home on Sundays but that normally doesn't happen.

Similar to this.
We try to get out here and there- but certainly not all day
We work around DD's nap schedule too
I don't like being out for too long
I like to get home and just chill

I am a SAHM so I do all my errands and cleaning during the week. DH and I are homebodies so we are home unless we have a bbq/party or event to go to.

I'm SAHM and try to get everything done during the week. Then on weekends we go visit family, take the kids to the pool etc. watch movies or shows at night with dh. this weekend we had to run all of our errands and the stores were mobbed!

I would like to be home more because I think I'd be less stressed about getting things done in the house. I'm really not sure why we feel like we have to go out all the time. I run no errands after work because it gets too late after dinner. Maybe I need to try doing that and see if there's a balance.

It depends on the mood we are in, really. My husband works on Saturday so that is my day for cleaning, errands, lunch with the girls, shopping, or whatever I feel like doing. On a Sunday we have a nice big breakfast at home and see where the day takes us. During the winter we MAY go out shopping, or to lunch. When the weather is nice we use Sunday's for lunch on the water, a drive to the beach, etc. Or to just grill, sit in the yard and enjoy the day, invite friends over, etc.We did a bit of both yesterday. Went to Lowes, stopped for a drink and an appetizer on the way home, and then hung out at home for the rest of the day. I enjoy sticking around the house on Sunday because I feel like the day is longer

It varies.
This weekend, we were busy...party on Fri, seeing a friend's band Sat, running errands yesterday.
Last weekend, we were complete homebodies.

we usually go to my parents house on Saturday, especially now that he is battling cancer, just to see how he is.
During the day, I'll stay home and do laundry, clean up and run whatever other errands i'll have. DH, when he isn't working the occasional Saturday, will work on restoring his classic cars in time for the next car show.
on Sunday, we'll go to the supermarket and pick up enough coldcuts and bread for the week for lunch and that's about it. we like to vegg on Sundays.
But we aren't "out" the whole weekend.

i'm nuts both days running errands mostly. DH and I work in the city so we don't get home until late. Everything has to get done on the weekends.

It varies depending on social plans and things that need to be done. We're usually out a lot, but lately we've also been spending time getting stuff done in the nursery. I run a lot of errands during the week after work, since I get out at 3:30.

It depends. We're usually in and out but in general we're homebodies so we like to be home, especially after dinner. At night we're always home, relaxing and watching movies while our DD is snoozing away in bed.

I can't stay home the whole weekend. I would be so bored. I have to go out, if even just to go to the gym, lunch, shopping, if we don't have other plans. If it's nice out, I especially have to enjoy it... we go for a run at the park or a drive to nowhere. If it's really gloomy out, I might stay in the entire day & not go out at all, but that is rare.
