Please recommend baby furniture that MUST be assembled!!
I am so frustrated right now I can't even believe it. Bought a Babi Italia crib and dresser through BRU. After many mistakes on their end we finally got it delivered today (at almost 38 weeks). They were not able to get the dresser up the stairs and the delivery guys made a bunch of marks in the wall as well  We have a bad turn at our stairs and we already knew it was hard to get things upstairs and have had to resort to lots of Ikea furniture.
Anyway, is there such a thing of a nice quality set that would require the dresser to be assembled as well? Everything I seem to look at requires assembly for the crib but not the dresser.
Any help would be much appreciated. Looks like the baby's room is going to stay empty until after his/her arrival

I don't want Ikea. We have so much Ikea furniture upstairs because of this issue already. I was looking for something nicer.
JC Penney says assembly required. Anyone know if it just the crib or this means the dresser as well?

We have jc Penney furniture. We had to assemble everything, including the dresser.

We have jc Penney furniture. We had to assemble everything, including the dresser.

We got our set from BBB -- it's the Bonavita Hudson and I just love it. They assembled it for us in the room when they delivered it. Same with the dresser and hutch.
DD slept in the rock n play in our room for several months before we moved her upstairs to her room. If you do something like that, you certainly have plenty of time still. What a pain that all sounds like!!

Some stuff from JCP has to be assembled some does not. It says on their website.

Can you tell me which ones you got exactly? How much assembly was required? Was it just the legs or did the whole thing have to be put together?

Thanks! I will call BBB today as well. I am not worried about where the baby will sleep.  will be in the pack n play in the beginning anyway. I just wish we had the dresser so I can put all things away that I washed. I feel so disorganized!

I called them to find out specifically what needed to be assembled and they were not very helpful! She just basically read the description on the website!

We have the hartford by rockland collection. There was a lot if assembly required, it basically came completely apart, but DH said it was easier to do than ikea. He had the crib, dresser, toy chest, and book shelf, done within two hours.

Excellent! Thanks! I think that is the one we are going with. Did you get the cherry or the coffee? I really wanted honey colored furniture, but I think we are going to go with the cherry.

We got the coffee.. Their cherry looked too red in person. We went to the store at Roosevelt field to see the stain samples.

Not sure if they changed their policy, but when BRU delivered our crib and dresser they assembled it in the room. Is that an option any more?

the whole thing had to be put together...the crib and dresser....i can't remember the brand but for some reason rockland sounds familiar...ill find out and let u know for sure
eta just checked jcp website and its definitely rockland caden crib and dresser in coffee.
