Willow Valley or Eden Resort in Lancaster- Toddler Friendly
I have a room booked at Eden Resort but just found Willow Valley. Which would save me around 30 dollars a night. How is this place with a toddler? Anyone stay there with a 2.5 year old.. I am trying to find a good place that won't break the bank.. Any other hotel ideas are welcome!!!

Willow valley was really nice and I mean WAS. Then doubletree bought out the waterplayground section and this is the ONLY side I would recommend. We just got back and I argued with them on the phone in one of their willow valley rooms to get me to doubletree side immediately. The rooms on the willow valley side were definitely not updated. It was not a good beginning to our trip. They did end up accomodating us and putting us on the doubletree side. If you stay on the willow valley side, the bldgs are not connected to the water playground.

I agree with the PP. My friend goes to Lancaster and stays at the Doubletree every year. She said the Willow Valley rooms are NOT updated at all, but the Doubletree rooms are very nice and her kids (now 2.5 and 6) love the water area.
That said, I went and stayed at Eden last year and I LOVED it. I would love to go back there every year if we could.

Re: Willow Valley or Eden Resort in Lancaster- Toddler Friendly
I just booked the Eden Resort because of their amazing pool and water playground. Have heard great things from many folks about Eden. It's the best hotel in the area and probably even better than Fulton Steamboat which I stayed at last year and is considered the best hotel in Lancaster. I thought it was ok because of the ducks and nice playground area. But it's a small area and gets so packed!
The Willow Valley water playground also looks great but I agree with the PP who said DoubleTree is the better side to stay at. And it will end up costing you almost as much as the Eden resort.

We stayed at Willow Valley RIGHT before it changed over and I mean within a month of it happening. I totally would have gone back with DS if the main building was available but not to stay in the other rooms.
