Dont know how far in advance they need to be scheduled.

I scheduled my newborn shoot pretty early around 8 weeks. But I was seeing the photographer for a shoot with DS and I told her then.

It depends on the popularity of the photographer you want to hire. Some get booked REALLY quick...

Didn't do a maternity shoot...but I'm 35 weeks & I still haven't booked a newborn photographer. At this point, I don't even know if I'm going to find anyone.

I scheduled mine at around 20 weeks. I'm not taking them tho until 35 weeks. I'm a planner- LOL

I'm not doing a maternity shoot but I did book my newborn shoot around 17-18 weeks. Photographers book up quickly so I wanted to book as much in advance as possible.
