Re: Do you live in a Bubble?

I got an 18.

11–80: A first-generation upper-middle-class person with middle-class parents. Typical: 33.

0–43: A second-generation (or more) upper-middle-class person who has made a point of getting out a lot. Typical: 9.

0–20: A second-generation (or more) upper-middle-class person with the television and movie going habits of the upper middle class. Typical: 2.

(In junior high school I purchased Avon Skin So Soft. Changing that answer and if I had a friend who has a different political opinion than mine made me go to an 11.) I have had those discussions before. Their opinions did not change mine. I still like them for who they are even though we differ politically.

I grew up quite poor and I'm from a very small town way upstate, and I also currently drive a pickup truck.

Re: Do you live in a Bubble?

You got 39 points.

11–80: A first-generation upper-middle-class person with middle-class parents. Typical: 33.

0–43: A second-generation (or more) upper-middle-class person who has made a point of getting out a lot. Typical: 9.

I suppose the second definition fits me, though I would hardly call my family "upper middle class".

ETA: I'm actually surprised. I thought I would score higher. I definitely have the least amount of bubble of everyone in mu family.

But its like, who needs a pickup truck in NY? And not eating at Arby's? Not having evangelicl friends.

Why don't we give a quiz about how many live theatre presentations you've seen, whether or not you have gay friends or friends of a different race, friends of different religions, and decide who is living in a bubble that way
