Re: Do you live in a Bubble?

This was funny - the first time I did it I scored 37, the second time I scored a 5!

Considering the first time I was asked a bunch of follow up questions, and the second time I wasn't, I question the "validity" of the questionaire!

I didn't even answer that oprah, judge judy, dr phil one. I dont watch any of them LOL

Never owned a pick up truck and had to seriously think WHO Jimmie Johnson was! LOL

Odd because I've lived in small towns for a bit in my life but I'm military raised. I have spent the MAJORITY of my life in big towns.

Re: Do you live in a Bubble?

I scored 43, and this probably matches me the best:

11–80: A first-generation upper-middle-class person with middle-class parents. Typical: 33.

Somewhat reflective, though there were questions missing I thought, particularly regarding place of work. Interesting though, I'm a creature of the city and the suburbs, and while I've travelled a lot, I can't say I've ever lived in a rural area or a different part of the country, which puts me in a big bubble.

Re: Do you live in a Bubble?

i got a 42

42–100: A first-generation middle-class person with working-class parents and average television and movie going habits. Typical: 66.

11–80: A first-generation upper-middle-class person with middle-class parents. Typical: 33.

0–43: A second-generation (or more) upper-middle-class person who has made a point of getting out a lot. Typical: 9.

the first gen upper middle class with middle class parents describes me best

but i agree with with the person who said these ranges are far too big

I grew up in a middle class household, my dad was an electrican. I don't consider myself upper middle class but when I googled it, I guess according the the averages for the US we are, but in NY I don't think it makes us upper middle class.

I don't consider myself snooty and found some of questions insulting. Like owning a pick up truck? Or knowing who Jimmie Johson is?
