Got an epi with my first and while it was great pain relief I didn't like the loss of feeling to my lower half (I have control issues ) With my 2nd I wanted to try and do without it. The pain eventually got so bad I begged for it! I wound up getting my wish for natural labor anyway as the reason I was in so much pain because I was close to delivering. I had DD#2 while waiting for anesthesia to arrive!

Im definitely getting the epi again asap. They did turn it down when i was pushing as well, which kinda sucked, but my contractions hurt so much leading up to pushing that i was glad i got it!
