that doesn't concern me. She got herself into reality T.V. and has made her name somewhat of a household name, like or not. Tori and Dean are a whole different ballgame IMO. They aren't having children to get attention or a tv show. Tori was a real actress, not some regular person who became popular from reality tv. I don't think the two have anything in common at all.
IMO, she is pg, with Jionni probably agreeing, that this is a bigger ticket to bigger fame. I would bet on it. Am I supposed to believe it was an accident? Well I dont buy it. I RECALL last year word went around that MTV wanted one of the "girls" to get pg...I can't seem to find that info anywhere, but I am SURE this was the buzz going around. And I believe it. Jionni and Snookie were headed for break up in many of the Italy shows. Conveniently they have an "accident"? I don't buy it one bit. I think it was planned and with the thought (and likeliness) that they will get a spinoff show. I am betting on it.
And being on a reality show won't "make" her a bad mother. Getting pg and having a child for the wrong reasons (unline Tori and her HUSBAND, not on again off again BF) certainly won't help her be mother of the year either.
but how do you KNOW she's having a baby for the wrong reasons?
I'm sorry, you seem to have some seriously strong feelings and for someone you don't like you seem awfully invested in her life. It's not just you though. I pray to god you're wrong. I do think she is gross...but to claim a person is getting pregnant purposely to make money is a HUGE accusation.
I remember being a little girl and being asked what I want to be...I said "A mommy". I also remember being a little 17 year old raver girl...with my 22 year old boyfriend promising me the world and telling me he wanted to marry me and get me pregnant. I was doing Ecstasy and quite a few other things back then. Had I gotten pregnant...I can assure you with 100% certainty...that party girl lifestyle would have ended and the time to be an adult would have begun. Is that the ideal way to get into parenthood, NO...but it doesn't make anyone any more or less likely to be a bad parent.
Plenty of people marry "the one", plan their pregnancy for the "perfect time" in their life only to wind up divorced, broke, mentally unprepared etc.
I'm not saying having a baby to make $$ and milk an opportunity isn't a possibility...I don't know her. BUT...it seems to me like alot of people seem to speak with 100% certainty like they know everything about her and are a fly on her wall.
Also, not for nothing but Jionni comes off as a traditional, private, quiet guy. He's hardly ever on camera and when he is he's trying to tame his wild GF. He gets very  when Snooki mentions the slightest dirty thing in public or on camera. He seems too into traditional values to try and exploit his child just for $$
ETA:
my point in referencing tori and dean was to say any possible spinoff would be more about marriage and family than partying...Tori did it...so why isn't it exploitation for more $$ or fame for her...but it is for snooki? Snooki is relevant right now...wether society likes it or not. Tori (AKA horseface)...might have been forgotten had it not been for her reality show. In other words...snooki doesn't really NEED a spinoff show right now...she's relevant enough to make money off of appearances, merchandise and interviews.

I seem to have strong feelings? You are the one defending her on every thread.  I don't think you see how defensive you are for her, yet you don't even know her (just as you say we do not). You are the one getting hypersensitive to anything we are saying about a person who pretty much has told us about her anal sex and urinated in front of us, etc.
Sorry but I don't personally see how one becomes "ready" to have a child while filming a show that revolves around being a dirty girl who gets wasted every night. If this is a "true" accident...well then, hope she shapes up. But somehow...with all her talk of wanting babies, and me REMEMBERING that buzz that went around last year or two...that MTV was encouraging one of the girls (mostly Snookie or Jenni) to get pg...I just will never buy this was not planned (and again, that would definitely not be all for the right reasons). I wish I could find this info...I am SURE this was going around a year or two ago. (ETA - I found a link to an old article supporting what I have been saying...started a new thread with it.)
With a supposedly on again off again BF< and all the troubles in her and Jionni's relationship, I can't see how this was an EDUCATED choice by two adults, for the "right" reasons...vs the wrong reasons of wanting more fame and on to the next reality chapter. Accident, I just find it rather coincidental...that JS is pretty much busted and old news at this point, and with her always talking about having a baby...I just will never buy it was an honest accident. I think it was her plan to have her next reality show and stay relevent (and of course, I am not saying she doesn't want a baby....she probably DOES but so do most 10 year old girls).
As for Jionni...if he was truly traditional, he would never stay with someone like Snookie, embarrassing him on tv like that. I always thought he was just with her for the fame. Now I think they are both together, having a baby with each other, for the fame. And honestly, I was a Snookie fan all this time but this season has me sick to my stomach with the level of dirtbagginess...and I truly believe, from all we have seen, this is just the next chapter of showbiz for them. They know the JS days are pretty much done...and they are trying to keep relevent. JMO

When I was 23, I didn't act much better than she does. Why not? I was young, single and having a good time. In fact, I wasn't acting much better at 32. Then I got pregnant and life as I knew it changed and I grew up. People can change when it's necessary and I can see her stepping up to the plate. I hope she does. She looks cute in this picture.

I've said numerous times"she's gross, dirty" etc. I simply don't agree with some of the strong accusations being made on this board and because I voice a difference of opinion I'm hypersensitive? but if I agree with everybody I'd get a   ? Why can't a person express themselves and their views without it being said that they are "DEFENDING" somebody specifically. I'm not defending snooki...I'm stating my opinion...and in a sense I guess you could say defending MY OPINION, not snooki. I NEVER heard the BUZZ that you speak of...nor do I believe EVERY story I hear or read. Also, alot of people on this board take a story and stretch it. ie: a story about ONE cast member buying coke turned into "They all do it like it's going out of style".
and you're not the first one to mention her being UNMARRIED in the context of being ready for a baby. I'm sorry, but one only need go over to the relationship board to see that marriage and all the planning in the world doesn't necessarily make you ready for anything, baby included.

I don't care if a woman who gets pg is married generally speaking. But in regards to HER, my point was I am sure her relationship is far from Tori and Dean's. I would take a strong bet on that one.

Why would anything that article stated be so far fetched? We are talking about MTV, a channel that has on this show, Jersey Shore, and TEEN mom. Come on. Nothing that article states sounds anymore unrealistic than the premise of ANY of MTVs shows. So even though it was STAR, I think it's pretty clear...when you add it all up. All of a sudden she is pregnant? Jersey Shore has hit a low point, it's had it's day. And all of a sudden Snookie is ready to have a child? I think it's pretty obvious what is going on here, and I didn't need the STAR or these articles to confirm it. It's common sense. 2+2=4. These people are marketing their lives for $$$$ and fame. And when you are old news, you need to be on to the next interesting topic. Can't see why that is SO unfathomable? STAR or not. And...do you think PEOPLE magazine would have this article? Would the producers of MTV want to admit they are encouraging these drunks to have babies for RATINGS???? No one would ever ADMIT that.
Do you STILL not believe Snookie is pg for fame? Will you believe it when she gets her own tv show with Jionni?

But I just don't see why this concept is so impossible to you...that MTV has a cash cow with Snookie and since her drunken stupors and public urinating were becoming old news, they probably enlisted her to have a baby to be on the next "crazy Snookie antics with baby" show. The writing is on the wall. Wonder when they will announce a show.
I will stand corrected when she goes away and quietly has her baby and we never see or hear from her or her wonderful baby daddy again. Patiently waiting..tap tap tap.

I guess I just give people the benefit of the doubt. I won't judge her if she does have a spinoff about her life with baby...because for her to have signed on for MTV in the first place she obviously had some sort of dreams of stardom, so it would make sense to see her continue down that path. BUT I WILL judge her if she neglects her child for the sake of fame.
