Re: Fresh Beat Band Tickets - Holy Moly!
My sisters and I are going with the kids. My sister was looking to get my niece the "Rock Star Jacket" and its bascially just a Route 66 jacket that sells in KMart for $20, SOLD OUT everywhere and going between $70-$100 on Ebay. So my sister found a very similar GUESS jacket bought it for $23 and bought 20 others to sell on Ebay and is making a killing!!!!

Where did she get the Guess one? I was showing my daughter pics of the auction for it, and she likes that one better than the Route 66. Oh I just realized they are ironing on the stars to make it look like FBB. I thought it came that way.

Re: Fresh Beat Band Tickets - Holy Moly!
My DH wants to sell the tix but I'm not so sure. DS is 28 months and LOVES the "Freh Beats" and so I really want to go to the concert.
DH is worried bc DS gets overwhelmed sometimes if there is a lot of noise, screaming and commotion so he's thinking DS won't even enjoy it. I think he will enjoy it. I know I will! Hahaha!
If DS didn't love the Freh Beats so much I wouldn't hesitate to sell. I'm torn but am leaning towards no.

Give me a break
Any parent that spends that much $ to take their kid to a one hour concert where the songs they will be performing will be the SAME ones they see everyday a million times a day on tv is a moron.
seriously they just came out with the CD (which i picked up ) just put that on really loud and the kid will think they are at the concert

I would sell if you can get some good money.
good money (meaning whats good money to YOU) might be 500+.
Pick a number you think is "worth it".

We are going for DD's b-day present....only pd $156 for the 3 of us.... I would never pay 2,000 for these tickets and I wouldnt sell them at a markup either. My DD is turning 3 and she's so excited!

No one is buying them for that price though, that is just how much they are listed for.
I clicked on completed auctions, and they do not go for that much.

I was dying for the Rockstar jacket for DD from Kmart but it's sold out and ebay is selling them for $80. No way. Which Guess Jacket did your sister get?

Re: Fresh Beat Band Tickets - Holy Moly!
While I'm sure the children would be sad that they missed the concert - If I had tickets and someone wanted $1K+ each for them (I think someone on here said 2K) I would definitely sell them. The concert lasts all of what an hour maybe 1.5 hours? But you could put it towards college fund, or a nice family vacation - where you would get quality family time for a week somewhere fun that would leave much more lasting memories than a 1 hour concert. I guess I can't believe anyone would consider spending $2k for tickets to a children's concert.

I didn't click on the above link but I did check completed auctions yesterday for westbury and 3 tickets sold for $1200, 4 sold for $1600. That's a lot of $ for tickets that were originally $50 each.

I bought during the pre-sale. It was part of my DCs Christmas gift. My DS is so excited. I don't have the heart to sell them. DD goes crazy when they come on too.

I ran up to the Kmart today on Astor Place and found the last Route 66 Rockstar jacket. It was a size L though. I bought it and I'm going to see if I can cut it up and have it tailored to DDs size. It was only $10 so I figured if it doesn't work out at least I didn't shell out $100+ like the ones selling on EBay and Etsy.
