FYI: Waldbaums
I just got back from the Waldbaums in Ronkonkoma (Portion) which is closing and everything is 10-40% off. They are taking coupons at face value (no doubling). I made out in the Health & Beauty Aisle mostly since that stuff was 30-40% off. I used coupons I had that don't normally double.
This is apparently going on in all of the locations that are closing. Just wanted to let you all know if you didn't know already!

I haven't been in the store, but, see signs all over for discounts at the Commack (Vanderbilt Pkwy) store.

A friend went to the Ronkonkoma store today looking to get the pepsi deal that was in the flyer. He was told they aren't honoring the flyers because of the discounts they're offering.

Found this online:
The Waldbaum's that are closing are in Rockville Centre, East Islip, West Babylon, Lake Ronkonkoma, Huntington Station and Commack.

Commack had only 10 percent off when I was there and they werent honoring sales either. Soooo 10 percent was really nothing. I walked out.

Is it the small one in commack (motor pkwy) or the one on Jericho? I am assuming Motor pkwy but wanted to confirm.

same thing happened to me at the one in huntington on jericho tpke that's closing. they said they arent honoring the flyer because "everything is on sale" but some of the "deals" are still better in the regular stores if you have your card

I worked in the Centereach location for 5 years before it closed in 2010. They don't honor the sales at all in the closing months - and the only deals you'll really make out on is the stuff that normally doesn't go on sale, like spices, greeting cards, all misc. stuff, etc. It's such a sad situation and I know SO many people in 4 of the 6 stores.
