BBB or BRU - Only one?

If you could only pick one, BBB or BRU, which store would you register in (I really, really don't want to have 2 registries)?

I like that you can use the 20% coupons at BBB. I have also heard that BBB has better service and way more knowledgeable employees. ...But there aren't that many locations.

The only pro I can think of for BRU is the amount of locations.

Just figured I would ask! Thanks! Chat Icon

I just can't say enough about BBB. They are fabolous!! Their customer service is fantastic. Their staff is always so helpful and accommodating. LOVE them! Plus you can ALWAYS print out endless amounts of 20% off coupons, just make up emails!Chat Icon

Re: BBB or BRU - Only one?

We registered at both. I definitely prefer BBB for all the reasons you mentioned. However, like you said, BRU does have MANY more locations. Also, for us, there were certain items that we wanted that BRU carried and BBB did not. I think 2 registries is a good idea actually, because it gives your friends and family options based on what's more convenient to them. They was we did it was we just set up the registries online (after going into the store and checking out the major items in person). We started each registry by adding the items we knew we wanted that only that particular store carried. Then, for all the rest of the items, we went one by one and checked both stores to see who had it at a better price, then added it to that registry.

I agree! I registered at both because BRU had some items that BBB did not have and because there are way more BRU locations where my family lives. Ironically, my BBB registry was basically completely purchased but there were still a bunch of items left on my BRU registry. I totally expected it to be the other way around but a lot of people seemed to purchase the gifts online.

I did two as well. Bbb was more convenient for some and they had the infant seat I wanted.
Bru was more convenient fpr most though - I ended up moving a lot of items over from bbb.

Re: BBB or BRU - Only one?

When I had DD in 2009, I had two registries, BRU & BBB. I would say 50% of my shower guests & friends shopped at BBB & 50% at BRU. There were certain patterns & items that one had & the other didn't. I know many ladies have had issues with returns to BRU, but I've never had an issue at the Bohemia location.

I have both BBB & BRU and maybe a handful of items (if that) were purchased from BBB. BRU was just way more convenient for my guests.

Re: BBB or BRU - Only one?

I had both. I found that there were more bedding options at BRU (sheets, mattresses) whereas BBB had more strollers, and so on.. I recently ran into an issue at BRU trying to return items for credit without a receipt, which they would NOT accept. So i wound up at BBB where they did give me store credit. Another plus are the coupons- BRU seems to mail out coupons every week. BBB- not as much, but as a PP said, you can apparently print more if needed! hth. good luck

i will probably do both even though i hear BBB has a better return policy, but BRU is probably more convenient for people to get to.

Re: BBB or BRU - Only one?

I did both but I have to say 95% of my stuff was purchased from BRU. I think because there are so many more locations than BBB. I loved BRU they never gave me a problem with a reutrn even items that weren't on my registery.

Re: BBB or BRU - Only one?

I only did BBB. BRU has a horrible return policy (although I heard it changed), and I just find BBB to be cleaner, neater & the people are way more helpful. I had OOS family & friends that came to the shower and they ordered online & had it either shipped to my mom's address or to themselves.
