Another bathtub spin off: If you use a bath seat or bath ring
Please recommend your bath seat or bath ring. I am so sick of the infant tub, but DS still has a little low muscle tone and i'm not comfortable putting him in the big tub. I don't really want to get the big inflatable tub because we have no where to store it. What kind of seat or bath ring do you ladies use?

Re: Another bathtub spin off: If you use a bath seat or bath ring
Just so you know, BBB and BRU no longer carry the bath seats that suction to the tub. I was at the BBB in Huntington this past week trying to get one and there are none! I was so mad. My DD is almost 3, but also has low tone, and doesn't stand yet. I had her in the bath ring seat but could no longer get her in and out due to the length of her legs. I needed one that opened in the front. I ended up getting one from Amazon. Go on there and see what they have. I got this one:
It does okay, but does not stay suctioned in place. DD is able to spin around in the tub. But the front swings open so it does what it needs to do.
They also have this one:
I opted not to get that one b/c the one I got is bigger, and since my DD is bigger, I needed something to fit her better.
They have a bunch of others...go on there and check them out!

I got my DS the tub from one step ahead and we love it. He is really tall so the bath ring was difficult and used too much water in the tub.
If you are still in EI you can ask your PT to order something adaptive for your tub to make things easier for you.

Another bathtub spin off: If you use a bath seat or bath ring
Hi there luckys mom & Pharmcat. My twins jsut turned 10 months. My little twin Peter has Low muscle tone. He can't really sit at all yet either & surely can't crawl. Can you share your stories with me & let me know when yours sat or crawled?? If you want, send me a private message if you like. Also what town are you from?
