What do you think? Should I be concerned? Sickness related (2yr old)
My 2yr old DD started with a fairly high fever (103.5) on Wed - she had a cold, cough and pink eye. Took her to ped he said seemed viral - all was clear (chest, throat and ears) but, monitor. As of Friday night she still had a fever (it was much lower though and only at night around 101 and acting normal) and the pink eye was not getting better so we went back. Ped gave us drops for the pink eye and did a CBC - CBC was completely normal - nothing was elevated or out of whack so ped said just viral and she was probably over it since she seemed much better but, last night and tonight she is still running a fever (101) - she is acting totally fine but, still has a cold and the pink eye. This is the FIFTH day with a fever! Should I bring her back tomorrow or is the fact that her blood work was normal and her ears and everything were fine just mean that this is viral and I should let it run its course? I'm also disturbed b/c this is the second time in a month she has been sick with a fever!!!! TIA!
ETA: Not sure if this matters but, DH and I caught this from her on Thursday and we are both still sick (coughing, sore throat, cold etc. but, no fever).

Eh - is the cough getting worse? no better at all? Do her ears hurt? Is she acting normal?
There is a virus going around DD"s school with a cough and fever - lasts about 5-6 days - Both girls had it - DD#1 vomited one time - then had a fever for a week - once the fever went away she started a cough -for about a week - but the ped cleared her to go back because she was fever free for several days (said the cough could last a while after the virus).
DD#2 on the other hand - had fever and cough - took her on a monday - only because strep was going around and wanted to get her checked. She did have a cough but lungs, ears throat were clear. Her fever continued to friday - but like her sister - the last 2 days of it were ONLY at night (101-102 at night- 98 all day long). She started to complain that her mouth hurt (NOT her ears) so I took her back to the ped (she only complains when she is in pain) and she had 2 bulging ear drums - double severe ear infection. Apparently she has a very high tolerance for pain - because she even told the ped that her ears didn't hurt at all.
If you think she might have an ear infection or the cough is getting worse - take her. But if she seems to be getting better and you don't get that mommy feeling something isn't right - then I would wait a bit and see. Most of the viruses going around we were told are lasting about 4-6 days.

She is definitely getting much better. Cough is better, mostly only around nap and bedtime and meals whereas it was all the time. She isn't complaining about anything and says she feels fine. In fact, she is acting totally fine all day and night and sleeping at night - that is why the fever is really strange! IN the beginning she was waking up all night long and making me carry her all day so this is def. an improvement! As of yesterday the ped said her ears were totally clear so I'd be surprised if it was that. The ONLY thing that is bothering me is the fever persisting this long! Both she and my DS never had fevers that lasted this long and now - three weeks ago she had a fever for 4 days and again now. Thanks though! You made me feel better b/c it sounds similar! We are all (except for DS strangely) so sick here!

See neither DH nor I got sick. I think there are a lot of things going around and you never know when you walk out of the house what you are exposed to. Hope she is better soon.
