7 month old feeding schedule Questions
How many meals/day? How many times for cereal? How many times for breast milk/bottled (I ebf but I'm just looking for an idea of how many times I should be breast feeding her).
Dd usually still wakes up in the middle of the night for a 10 minute snack and goes right back to sleep...

Re: 7 month old feeding schedule Questions
DD is 10 months now, but at 7 months she was eating 3 small meals a day (that would include some sort of cereal with a fruit or veggie). She BF'd every time she went down and woke up (so once in the AM, before & after both morning & afternoon nap, and then again before bed at night).
She was the same as your DD too - would wake up once every night to nurse real quick and then was out for the night.
Now that her meals are bigger, I find she's BFing less and not waking up anymore for that snack.

Re: 7 month old feeding schedule Questions
DD turns 8m tomorrow
How many meals/day? 2 although i think my ped wanted 3 but we will transition next month
How many times for cereal? both meals have cereal and 2 fruits/veggies (i make my own baby food and usually give 2 cubes that are different or some banana or avocado and a cube)
How many times for breast milk/bottled (I ebf but I'm just looking for an idea of how many times I should be breast feeding her). we do both.. nursing first thing in the morning and if she wakes up in the middle of the night, and then 4 6oz bottles of formula throughout the day..if she's hungry i nurse more but she hasn't been nursing much since we started fruits and veggies

Re: 7 month old feeding schedule Questions
Ds is 7.5 months. We do 2 meals a day. For lunch he has a veggie or veggie w/protein. At night he has cereal mixed with fruit. He gets 3 8oz bottles a day, but he's formula fed and always has been.

Re: 7 month old feeding schedule Questions
DD is also 7 months.
I BF when she wakes up, she gets fruit (sometimes mixed with cereal) in the morning, then a 3 oz bottle, a 4 oz bottle, then a veggie in the late afternoon followed by a 3 oz bottle, then a 4 oz bottle. I get home from work at 7 and BF her, then she gets nursed to sleep, and has been eating twice at night.
HTH.

Re: 7 month old feeding schedule Questions
DS will be 7 months next week and he is bottle-fed.
He gets 4 - 8oz bottles a day and 2-3 solid meals. In the morning, 3 tbsp of oatmeal mixed with a stage two fruit. In the evening, a stage two meat or veggie. In the afternoon, sometimes, a stage 2 veggie.
He doesn't eat in the middle of the night. 8am, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm

Re: 7 month old feeding schedule Questions
Thanks for the responses. According to the sheet from my ped, she should be on 3 meals a day...but I'm not sure how to fit it in.

My ped also said the first year is just for practice and all they need is BM/formula, so I really wouldn't worry about it. If you really want to do 3 meals, I would just do smaller meals.

Re: 7 month old feeding schedule Questions
My twins eat 4times a day. 7am-bottle only 10am 2tbs cereal and 4 oz fruit and whatever is left of the bottle after making the cereal 2pm- 6oz of food. (Chicken soup, beef stew, veal, whatever I have made) and a bottle with 2oz less than they normally drink 6pm- 2tbs cereal and4oz veggies and a full bottle. 7pm is bedtime and we start all over again at 7am. My girls are now 7 1/2 months but this has been their schedule since 6mths. .
