WHY!?
I am so annoyed right now. Our intern actually came into work WITH THE FLU!!!! Why would you ever come in like that first off and second, do you want to get everyone sick? I told her to go home, luckily they listened.

So inconsiderate!! It's one thing to have a cold but to come in when you're sick with the flu?! WTH?! You should have sprayed her in the face with Lysol

Dealing with the same thing here..
1 coworker came in late because she wasnt feeling well. Turns out she's nauseous..so yea, great, just what i want...a stomach virus!
A different coworker has been walking around with this absolutely terrible cough...think bronchitis on the verge of pneumonia. And she hasnt done a single thing for herself...and continues to work.

If she is an intern...that might explain it. Many of them feel like the will be looked at unfavorably if they call in sick since it is not a perminant position. I sure was guilty of it many many times when I was student teaching back in college.
Good thing they let her go home though, for everyone involved!

That is sooo frustrating! I am going through something similar!!!
I share an office with a woman who is sniffling, sneezing and doing this DISGUSTING noise where she is trying to clear her throat that clearly SOUNDS like shes terribly flemmyTHEN she just swallows it (I just threw up in my mouth saying that) and when I ask her why did you come in you sound so sick... Shes like o Im not sick I have allergies... Umm no hunnie your sick... Ive been working with her for a year now, THOSE NOISES are not allergies your sick... I cant take it I want her to go home or go sit somewhere else! I already had a cold and it sucked I dont want another one! And the noise she makes when she tries to clear her throat makes me want to vomit!
